SERVICE / PILOT DRAFT
Clear terms for controlled work.
The desk supports the transaction. Licensed operators keep authority over the cannabis, the approval, and the regulated record.
Pilot status
These terms are an engineering-ready pilot draft, not the final customer contract. The signed pilot agreement, order form, data-processing terms, and any negotiated schedule control if they conflict with this page. Canadian counsel must approve the final version before production use.
Licensed business use only
BC Direct Delivery is independent software for licensed cannabis wholesale organizations and their authorized workers. It is not a consumer marketplace, provincial program, cannabis seller, payment-card processor, tax filer, carrier, or regulator. Participants must maintain the licences, approvals, records, and operating procedures required for their activities.
Accounts and authority
- Provide accurate work identity, organization, licence, location, and integration information.
- Use individual accounts, protect credentials, and promptly remove access for departed or reassigned workers.
- Invite only people authorized to act for the organization and assign the minimum role required.
- Notify BC Direct Delivery promptly about suspected account misuse, security incidents, or incorrect records.
Operator approval remains required
Imports, OCR, product matches, reorder signals, and integration results are suggestions or recorded provider responses. The authorized participant remains responsible for reviewing products, quantities, prices, taxes, shipping information, substitutions, receiving, credits, and payment obligations before relying on them.
Customer data and instructions
Each participant must have authority to provide the business records and personal information it submits. BC Direct Delivery processes that information to provide, secure, support, and improve the contracted service, following the participant's authorized instructions and the applicable privacy terms. Participants must not upload consumer histories, medical information, card data, malware, unlawful content, or records unrelated to the wholesale workflow.
Integrations and external services
A provider connection is not live until its credentials, permissions, tenant mapping, and certification gates are complete. External systems may be unavailable, delayed, or reject a transaction. BC Direct Delivery records pending and failed delivery states and does not infer external success from a timeout.
Pilot limits and suspension
Pilot access may be limited by organization, location, product, order volume, value, feature, or time. Access may be suspended to protect participants, investigate an incident, prevent unlawful use, preserve data integrity, comply with law, or address a material breach. Accepted transaction history is not silently erased when access ends.
Commercial and legal allocation
Fees, service levels, support, warranties, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, indemnities, liability limits, termination rights, governing law, and dispute procedures must be stated in the signed pilot documents. This page intentionally does not invent those commercial terms before the operating company and counsel approve them.
Contact and changes
Contract questions can be sent to legal@bcdirectdelivery.ca. Material changes should be versioned, dated, communicated to affected organizations, and accepted through an auditable process when required. The effective pilot version must be recorded in the signed agreement and application acceptance event.
